As the only ABB drive Value Provider for the North East of England, EDC N.E.can call upon the expertise of ABB when undertaking major projects. The one below involved us in the supply of a 2MVA transformer, 2 low harmonic 1000kW ABB inverters and 2 ABB high efficiency 1000kW motors running at 690V. The project was specified and sized in conjunction with ABB technical water specialist, Martin Richardson.
The matched solution of ABB transformer, inverters and motors provides the customer with guaranteed efficiency levels and NO questions regarding compatibility of the system components.
Very few manufacturers can offer a whole electrical package, complete with local support from an authorised partner network. We'll be attending site in April to commission the installation.
